I am utterly amazed at how many Jed's you have listed.  

Also, at how many Jed Davis' there are.  I was named after my
grandfathers, one James, one Eugene.  

My mother didn't like the idea one bit, so at the hospital I would be know as Jed, 
and have been ever since.  I am from Texas, have been all my life.  
So being a Jed from the south was quite fitting I suppose.  

I love your site.  So hello to all the Jed's of the world.
