It is a nickname that my parents created by taking the 'J ' from John and the ' ed ' from Edward. 
I was named after a friend of my Moms. His name was Ned and my Mom liked the sound of it and decided to name
me Jed.

I've always been proud of having a unique name, despite the frequent references to Uncle Jed and his family. 

My biggest claim to fame.  I am the voice of President Kennedy in the award winning movie, Forrest Gump.

My latest film is an 11 minute short comedy called "Evil Hill"
I play the part of JFK opposite Marilyn Monroe and Dr. Evil.  This short film is very funny.

Evil Hill  was written by Timothy Dowling who co wrote the hit short comedy, George Lucas In Love. If you are a Star Wars fan, you probably have already hear about the spoof film,  George Lucas In Love.
