hello fellow jeds!

it was so nice to finally find a web site dedicated to the best name ever
invented! i've always longed to talk with other jeds about jed-related
problems, issues and concerns, but have only once or twice come in contact
with any other jeds. it is a relief to know that there is a support group
that will understand my life as a jed.

we all can relate to one another's jedness: the bad hair, the dubious foot
odor, the lonely nights, the great personal void that seems unfillable by
those with dissimilar names. jenny, jena, john and jeff are close. jen only
one letter away. and yet they fall short of what we all know and live with
every day. we are similar, my fellow brother jeds, in a way that people with
other names will never understand.

i have to confess: i desire only other jeds. i can't help it. they appeal to
me in a way that no other person can. the tongue brushes the roof of the
mouth to form the hard "j", leading to a softer "e" that blends,
effortlessly, into a strong, but sensitive "d". you all know what i am
talking about. we are all bonded in a way that mere mikes, matts and lauras
can never understand.

i'm sorry if i've dredged up feelings in you all that, perhaps, you have
been hiding for all these years. don't be afraid. confront your fears and
desires, and be honest with your jedness. we now have a forum, thanks to the
wonder of the internet, to express our ultimate jed fantasies.
