jed,
this site is pretty far out.
the thing that tripped me out the most was the jed douglas site.  i have
a live-in girlfriend named kim and when i read their page it was like
deja vu all over again. or something.

is there anything like a "jed of the month"?

my name is not really jed either. my real name is john jarred.
when i was young my parents told me they got jed from the j in john and
the ed at the end of jarred. i have since found out that is a load of crap.
they printed john jarred on my birth certificate, but called my jed since
the day i came into the world.

while i enjoy having a unique name (aside from all of the crappy beverly
hill billies jokes), it has been a pain in the neck to have all my legal
documents say john, but to be called jed.
i have considered getting my name legally changed to jed, but for some
strange reason, i am also attached to my real name: john jarred.
anyway, no more babbling.
power to the jeds and i will be sure to check back in on jed.com again
soon.
