I am 15 years old and I thoroughly enjoy my unique name. 

I, like many others, hate the question "What's Jed short for?" Well, for me, 
its short for nothing. 
Sometimes, however, people confuse my name as Jay or  Ted, because they are either: 
A)Extremely dumb, B) Hard of hearing,C) Desperately trying to annoy me. 

When I found this site, I enjoyed basking in  the warmth and unity of all us Jeds. 
I got my name because the doctor's assistant who brought me into this world 
was named Jed.
